KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Manning Cup champions Jamaica College (JC) are also the 2013 Olivier Shield champions, the pinnacle of local schoolboy football, defeating St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) 2-0 at the National Stadium Saturday afternoon, and 5-0 on aggregate.
JC, the better looking team on the day, thwarted the bid from STETHS, daCosta Cup and Ben Francis Knockout winners, at a triple in schoolboy football.

The boys from Hope Road pretty much had control of the game from start to finish, STETHS’ moment coming in patches few and far between. Ironically STETHS' best chance for a goal in the encounter ended with JC scoring in the 34th minute.
At the break JC had all but knocked the stuffing out of STETHS adding two goals to three they scored in the first leg at Santa Cruz in St Elizabeth.
On the resumption JC continued where they left off until about 10 minutes to go when STETHS in an attempt to get on the score sheet lifted their game.
But JC hit back, benefiting from a five-goal cushion, using the dying moments of the game to exhibit superb ball-handling skills to the chagrin of the STETHS players.
The second leg of the final ended 2-0 for JC.
